THE HERBAL APOTHECARY- Tea Branding & Packaging
Client / Context
A fictional brand created to explore luxury packaging and craftsmanship within a conceptual herbal product line. This project allowed me to stretch my skills in package design, illustration, and photography while experimenting with high‑end materiality and rigid-box structures for the first time.
Key Challenge
Creating a rigid box using leather and suede for the first time, I had to quickly learn how these materials behave while ensuring the design felt luxurious, functional, and offered a memorable unboxing experience.
Solution
I crafted a premium rigid box with a real leather exterior and a suede‑lined interior to evoke tradition, quality, and tactile richness. The logo was burned into the leather for a subtle, memorable detail, and a removable inner box was designed to encourage reuse. Throughout the project, I focused on structure, tactile finishes, and visual storytelling to communicate craftsmanship in every touchpoint.
Result
The final rigid box achieved a high-end, tactile experience that highlighted craftsmanship and attention to detail. It successfully demonstrated my ability to learn and execute with new materials, resulting in a product that feels premium, reusable, and visually striking. The project also strengthened my confidence in hands-on design techniques like leatherwork and structural packaging.
